Pegging Out Day for Muthill Community Hub

Working with Muthill Village Trust, the ab+c team have been developing designs for a new community hub in Coronation Park, Muthill.

Since January 2023, local residents have been sharing their ambitions for the hub through public consultations, responding to the evolving concepts and proposals offering gathering spaces of a variety of scales and uses for the community, while enhancing the existing park land that surrounds it.

In August, the community came together for our Pegging Out Day — an interactive event that allowed residents to physically explore the footprint of the proposed hub, marked out with flags on the site, and imagine how the new spaces will sit within the park.

A walkthrough guide brought the vision to life, highlighting key spaces like the foyer / museum display space, café, small hall, and main hall — each accompanied by sketches and descriptions.
