Damshot Crescent

Damshot Crescent is located in an area benefiting from proximity to the extensive, attractive public green spaces at Pollock Country Park, with numerous smaller green spaces in the area that offer opportunities for play and leisure, with walking paths and picnic areas which create a natural buffer to residential areas.

The site is bounded by the White Cart Water to the North, and Pollok Country Park beyond to the North and East.

We have designed a crescent of cottage flatted blocks with shared greenspace and parking courts behind overlooked by 2 and 2.5 storey houses.  Most of the houses look onto the back court which is sensitively landscaped with seating areas, supplementary drying areas and planting to create an attractive gathering/community space. The ground floor flats benefited from small rear gardens which look onto the court and are defined by raised planters which also provide screening.

Parking is accessed from a private shared surface access road which also links the central courtyard with the public realm at the west of the site to create a level pedestrian entrance from Damshot Crescent.

Homes for wheelchair users are located next to allocated accessible car parking spaces and close to the western pedestrian level access to the site.
