Early Years Reference Design

The 1140hrs Early Learning and Childcare Reference Design by Anderson Bell Christie has been developed in partnership with Hub South West, Scottish Futures Trust and East Ayrshire Council (EAC).

The design is an exciting and flexible two storey option that operates equally well in a single storey format.  It is designed from a child’s perspective to bring delight into their play spaces.  It considers 1140hrs delivery from a user perspective following detailed dialogue with the Early Years Team at EAC, Scottish Futures Trust and the Care Inspectorate.  A free-flow indoor outdoor facility has been provided that merges indoor and outdoor spaces, achieving an additional 20% registered capacity outdoors.
