Mavor Avenue

Mavor Avenue is a new build housing development located in East Kilbride. Working with McTaggart Construction for Clyde Valley Housing Association on a former industrial site, we have developed 109 units which include 4 wheelchair properties specifically designed for identified families. The remainder of the site is formed in a mixture of 2 storey terraced & semi-detached dwellings with 4 storey flat blocks.

Each individual house type has a 30-degree dual pitched roof. Where possible, we have turned the pitch of the roof 90-degrees to animate the street and provide interesting vistas at road junctions and courtyards.

The house types are efficient and generous in their floor layouts and provide all the appropriate amenities.

The materiality of each block is of a contemporary style and our approach to detailing has been refined and considered.

The housing mix on the development has been developed to create an inclusive community for the residents.
